Kate Fearnley Goes Bridesmaid

Our very own local, award winning, celebrity designer, Kate Fearnley has revealed that she will be launching her very own exclusive Bridesmaid collection, which has just been showcased at the British Bridal Show at Harrogate this week.

Kate, who has been awarded Cosmopolitans Young Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year Award, has provided red carpet glamour for a host of celebrities including Cheryl Cole, The Saturdays and the girls from Hollyoaks. One of Kate’s biggest fans would have to be Katie Price aka Jordan, who chose Kate to design 10 Bridesmaid dresses for her big day to Alex Reid.

This exciting range is definitely a break from tradition and for the more fashion forward Brides. The dresses are inspired by 50’s silhouettes and have a mix of classical shapes that are flattering and feminine, along with usual style associated with Kate’s designs.

Muted sorbet tones of sage green, dusky pink and coffee caramel are the dominant colours in the collection, whilst soft lilacs, buttercup creams and a hint of black sit well alongside these individual shades. They are made up of luxurious fabrics of two-tone taffetas, soft satins and vintage laces and are all finished with delicate details of soft tulle and beautiful bows.

If you are after Bridesmaid dresses that stand out from the crowd and are more fashion forward than your regular Bridesmaid dress, then definitely have a look Kate’s way, I’m sure she will not disappoint.

I would just like to say a quick thanks to Kate and her team for providing me with information and images so that I could make this post possible!
