Well yesterday was the day of Middlesbrough FC’s wedding fayre, giving you a chance to view the stadium as a venue, along with a load of fantastic suppliers.
Upon arrival you were greeted by a member of staff and handed a goody bag, containing leaflets and a local wedding magazine, ‘Hitched’, you then went through to one of the Suite’s which had various stalls in and demo’s on Bridal make-up and hair styles, there was even a stall with a portable spray tan booth that you could get done, there and then!
After looking at what there was to offer here, you then walked through to another of the Riverside’s Suites to find more stalls and a catwalk, where Truly Beautiful from Guisborough were going to be showcasing some of their dresses.
There were various cake stalls, including Cakes 4 U, who were offering free samples and both me and my friend fell in love with their sponge cake, although a sponge cake might not be the most adventurous choice for a wedding cake, it was sooo tasty, it just melted in your mouth!
One of my favourite stalls of the day had to be the one that belonged to Euphoria Bridal Boutique from Stockton. Euphoria stock the most gorgeous vintage headbands, along with other jewellery and handmade shoes, they take inspiration from antique treasures whilst incorporating influences from the latest Bridal trends. If you are after something a little bit more personal, Euphoria offers a bespoke service whereby their wedding headbands can be altered to your individual specification. They also offer a service where they can come to your home and you can host your own Euphoria party, these are just like all your other at home parties (Bodyshop, Ann Summers etc) except you get to look at and try on some beautiful vintage pieces. If you were looking for a low key hen night idea, then this would be a great option.
Premier Imaging of Darlington were one of the photographers there that caught my eye, but this could be down to the fact that a lot of his photos on display where of someone I knew and the sister of someone I was there with! Premier Imaging shoot all types of styles including formal, reportage, colour and black and white, so will suit everyone’s tastes and unlike some companies, they will not charge you extra to photograph the reception.
Truly Beautiful from Guisborough were the sole Bridal Boutique at the wedding fayre and had their own catwalk show, which was on at 1.00pm and 3.00pm. They showed a variety of dresses in all different styles and colours, along with Bridal gowns they also showed some of their Bridesmaid/Flower Girls dresses, Page Boy suits and Mother of the Bride outfits. Truly Beautiful stock leading designers Benjamin Roberts, Amanda Wyatt, Ian Stuart and many more.
Here are a few other stalls that were at the fayre:
