Venue Love – Sandburn Hall

On the many times that I have looked for venues around the North East, I have really struggled to find something a bit more rustic, that isn’t a country house or stately home…well that was until today. I was just browsing through some photos by GT Photography and noticed this absolutley stunning venue, with the most amazing oak framed, arched window and views out over a lake and fields, so I made it my mission to find out what venue it was.

The venue was that of Sandburn Hall situated just on the outskirts of York and like it says in their brochure, it was love at first sight. I couldn’t believe it, all this time I had been trying to find a venue exactly like Sandburn Hall and here it was.

Their Grand Function Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies so you can take your vows overlooking the beautiful views. The Grand Function Hall caters for 80 to 150 guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast and up to 200 guests for your evening celebrations.

Sandburn Hall use locally sourced food and offer a wide range of food and drink to suit all tastes and you will receive a complimentary tasting session to help you plan your menu.

Sandburn Hall offers fantastic photo opportunities with the garden been specially designed for the perfect setting for your photographs with an eye catching fountain, along with the lake and the fairways of the golf course.

I will definitely be keeping Sandburn Hall in mind when the boyfriend finally comes round to my way of thinking!
